Q: What exactly does the term "Rolling Enrollment" mean?
A: The term "Rolling Enrollment" refers to the flexible schedules now offered at Excel Academy. Our students our invited to begin their program of choice immediately! No more waiting for a new session to begin!
Q: Can I begin class on any day of the week?
A: Each student is invited to begin their training on MONDAYS. This rule has been established to provide students with clarity and a concise understanding of the requirements of their schedule through the duration of the course.
Q: Once I begin, can I make my own schedule?
A: No. Once you begin the course, you must adhere to the session schedule you have selected: DAY, EVENING, or WEEKEND. To maintain a consistent educational environment, you must pick a session and commit to it. Students must understand that our attendance policy is strictly enforced.
Q: Are your training programs designed as independent study? How does it work if students have staggered enrollment (if they all start at different times?)
A: Excel Academy is proud to provide students with a significant amount of one-on-one time with their instructor. We are a student driven learning facility, and while we adhere to our schedule, we make time to focus on each student's individual needs. Students will meet with their instructor for focused study during their first week of class. Once the state required "introduction" to their program is completed, they will integrate into their studies with the rest of their class, and make a loop back to the material they have not yet completed in order of lesson.
Q: How does my instructor keep track of which lesson each student is on, while juggling every student at the same time? What if I can't keep up with the faster learners in my class?
A: Excel Academy's instructors have extensive experience in successfully multi-tasking with students from all demographics and different walks of life. Each student will be issued a personalized syllabus on their first day of class, and a copy will be kept with the instructor. Each day, the date must be manually written next to the lesson you have completed. This process is very effective for tracking the student's requirements for graduation, and demonstrates the key areas of the curriculum to focus on. In addition, students can study material based on subjects or skills they need to focus on based on personal understanding and instructor feedback.
Q: What if I still don't understand this concept?
A: Please contact Excel Academy, and we will be more that happy to help you understand our enrollment policy/process.
